# EPM 4.1.4.1 Health Care Delivery

All Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP) services are provided through a [fee-for-service](https://bot-corpus.mn-dhs.online/s/epm/1.6#fee-for-service) delivery system.

## Medicare

The Minnesota Family Planning Program (MFPP) will not pay for prescription drugs covered under the Medicare prescription drug benefit.

## Covered Services

The MFPP covers family planning services and supplies, including:
- Family planning-related office visits
- Birth control prescriptions, devices and supplies
- Sterilizations
- Diagnosis and treatment of some sexually transmitted diseases (STDs) found during a family planning visit
- Diagnosis of HIV/AIDS found during a family planning visit
- Transportation to and from a family planning provider

The MFPP does not cover:
- Abortions
- Infertility treatment
- Family planning services provided in an inpatient setting
- Treatment of HIV/AIDS
- Immunizations and vaccines
